Project: Personal Timeline

Materials: Oak wood, birch wood, glass, and color ink dye

​

Objective: To create a personal timeline of the past 26 years of my life, and the rest of the world. Each cube is laser engraved with the year, a personal event that happened in my life that year, a positive/pop culture event that happened in the world that year, and a negative/tragedy event that happened in the world that year. The cubes are made from white birch and the box is made from oak. The custom box was hand made by my grandfather, and then finished off in colored ink dye by me. This is one of those special pieces that will age nicely overtime.
