Project: Pier Burger

Materials: French paper & lithograph ink

Objective: This photo lithograph print was inspired by old postcard designs. The photo used in the design, which is from a larger photo series of mine titled Sandy City, depicts the famous "Pier Burger" restaurant that is found exclusively on the Santa Monica Pier. The black text speaks about my experiences with this burger joint and why I'm so drawn to it. The four big words in the bottom right corner are meant to resemble the idea of a hamburger through typography, because of the order and color of each word. The dimensions for this print are 8'' x 8'' and is an edition of 15.
