Project: Out of Bounds Tea

Objective: For this project I created a tea brand, called Out of Bounds Tea. The idea behind this brand is that each type of tea has a wild unexpected (out of bounds) flavor in it. Each flavor has a funky name to go along with the wild flavor that is in it. I created three different types of tea: a morning tea, a mid-day tea, and a night tea. The morning tea is called Soothing Morning Heat, because it has chili peppers in it to get the morning going. The mid-day tea is called Mid-Day Delight, because it has zucchini in it to add a refreshing feel to your day. The night tea is called Relax to the Beet, because it has beets added to it to help you relax before bed. For the design, I wanted to create an illustration of the tea plant to give the packaging a fun and organic feeling. I also chose to wrap the illustration around the packaging and let it go off some of the edges to create an out of bounds feeling. The typefaces contrast the playful feeling of the illustration and adds a level of sophistication to the packaging.
